dinosaurs were gardeners
althogh after the episode where Shiny, Tiny, Don have started their own garden by gathering seeds from various flowers from the big pong, and afterwards planting them by their nest. Afterwards that guy came out after Dr. Scott's Presentation and said "Point of fact, dinosaurs were not gardeners." Well that may not be totaly correct. Well not gardeners as we would be by planting flowers. First, the herbavore dinos would eat the green plants, which would also contain seeds. Then after digesting the plants inside them, they would poop out the waste, which would also include the plant's seeds mixed in. Finally, burried in it's own fertilizer, with rain and sunshine, the seeds would start to grow new green plants. It's been done with animals for millions of years.

Dinosaur Train Halloween special
Leave it up to the creators to have the Dinosaur Train celebrate Halloween.
What a fun concept as everyone rode the train to the Main station, where the train gets turned around. Mr. Troadon (The Conductor) was dressed up as a vampire dino and guied the dinos through a haunted tour of the station. There were spider webs all over that was made by a real spider (very catchy, and spiders were around even at the time of dinosaurs) Various treats were offered during the tour for which Tank the Triceratops had consumed alot of. They made a new friend, a Volaticotherium which was from the Jurassic and was nocturnal. He resembled a flying squirrel and was a mammal. Now the other special had involved a trip to the great pond at night for the celebration of the autumn equinox. The Lambeousaurs family had celebrated this by decorationg the area with Gourds (which are fruit and not a vegetable) So they all went onto the Dinosaur Train to the big pond to enjoy Mr. Lambeosauru's surprise. A large pumpkin patch for eveyone to pick their own pumpkin and carve it.
Then the whole main celebration was there as the orange harvest moom began to rise and Mr. Lambeosaurus had lifted up his carved pumpkin and let the moon's rays shine through it making the pumpkin shine. Ohhhhhh.
I admit that I enjoy looking at the full moon in a night sky and sometimes it looks orange. But because of a certain atmosphere condtion in the sky, it tend to give off the illumination of the moon looking bigger and I loved that. One thing I have to question is that did they have Gourds and Pumpkins back in the Cretaceous period? The show is supposed to be educational and that stupid informer guy comes out to give an important fact. Yeah Dinosaurs didn't celebrate Halloween, but maybe they didn't have gourds back then either as I had looked it up. It seems that the first mention of pumpkins was back 5,000 years in Mexico. Over all it's a fun holiday episode.

Tank Triceratops
One of my favorite dinosaurs is the Tri-ceratops. So the Pteranadon family travels to Cretaceous time period to see Mrs. Triceratops, her son Tank at the trainstation as they were invited to Mrs. Pteranadon's home for lunch. Since Tank was a herbavore, he practically bulldozed through the bushes consuming tons of leaves. Concerned that he might ruin the area, everyone took a train trip to the big pond. Tank really enjoyed himself there. Tank is one of those characters I can relate to as he's always hungry and ready to eat the green vegitation. Although Tiny tried to get Tank to eat a fish, since it was her fav, Tank however spat it out as he didn't eat fish. Buddy even tried to eat leaves, but found it hard with his teeth, as he's a carnivore and his teeth were meant to eat meat.
Somehow when Tank smiles, it's one of those expressions that will make you smile, as he seems like a fun dino. His mom Mrs. Triceratops has a nice smile as well. But what got me was that within one episode when Mrs. Triceratops gave birth to a few baby Triceratops, the baby Triceratops sounded just like a human baby. I don't think that baby dinos sounded like human babies, as they may have made little grunts or squeek-type noises.

Dinosaur Train product I remember
I think that Dinosaur Train may have air previously before 2009. I do remember going to the grocery store and seeing Dinosaur Train collectible jelly jars from Welche's The drawings were very basic and not detailed much.

Dr Scott at the end of each episode
At the end of each episode, Dr Scott usually is seen with a nice large full sized drawing of the dinosaur that was featured in today's episode. As he gives his presention and tells kids some important facts on the dinosaur, sometimes you hear the sound of a doorbell, and then a door opens which reveals another man who usually says "Point of Fact." Which I think is really stupid. And then he usually corrects Dr. Scott of what he had said to the children. Is Dr. a real Paleontologist? Well, I had spoken to an official curator at our local museum, and he was highly educated and knowledgeable about the history of the area as well as the dinos and fossils he had on display. He told me that if he says things during his presentation like "We're Not Sure." "We Guess." or "We Think."
Then you may question his knowledge. So He may be a paleontologist or just an actor. Funny though that the Dinosaur Train runs on coal which is fossil fuel and made by dead decayed dinos. And the Pteranadons didn't get their fish by diving into the water, as it would be very difficult for them to fly out. Mostly they just flew really close to the water and scooped up the fish with their beaks. Most raptor birds don't go into the water to get fish, but just either grab it with their tallons, or scoop it up with their beak like a pelican. Of course the only exceptions are the King fisher bird, and Penguins, but they don't fly in the air at all. Now, I've noticed that Dr. Scott's presentations are only shown after the first episode only, and after the second episode, they show a Dinosaur train song video.

Another weird Dinosaur Train dream I had
All I remember from this dream, was that for some reason I was riding on the dinosaur train, I don't know where I was going to. There was a scene where I had gotten separated with the Pteranadon family and Mr. Conductor on some type of shopping trip to a indoor flea market. I had then realized that I was separated from the group and ran like crazy trying to find them. It was no use and I was stranded and alone and didn't have a ride to go home. However as I was walking to a nearby trainstation, I began to see Buddy and all the rest of the dinos, who had helped me by building a dinosaur train and I got on for a ride of a lifetime to get home. The only thing was that the train was going very fast and in the opposite direction. Talk about a weird dream, but I was watching my Dinosaur Train DVD that has 8 episodes. Basically I was only watching a few episodes per day. Now that was one weird dino dream.

Valentine Day Fun
I had just downloaded a cute printable on the Dinosaur Train website of Valentines Day Dino Cards featuring Buddy And Tiny. Each of them are holding a large heart with the message written on it saying "Be My Valentine" I thought it was cute and fun.
